Who Reviews Your Records
VA PTSD Firm evaluations are completed through two channels. Our in-house medical reviewer is a licensed medical professional who personally conducts evaluations, completes DBQs, and prepares Nexus Letters. For overflow, specialty conditions, or geographic coverage, we also draw on an additional network of independent, licensed doctors, psychologists, and nurse practitioners (our "Network Providers"). Network Providers are independent contractors — not employees of VA PTSD Firm — and retain absolute, uninhibited medical autonomy.
Regardless of which channel handles your case, VA PTSD Firm does not dictate, influence, or guarantee the medical findings, diagnoses, or opinions rendered. The medical opinion is always the reviewing provider's own independent clinical judgment.
What Your Review Includes
When you schedule a review, your assigned provider — in-house or network — will:
- Review your relevant military and medical records.
- Conduct an independent medical evaluation, by telehealth or in person depending on the provider.
- Complete the appropriate Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for your condition.
- Where the evidence supports it, prepare a Nexus Letter addressing service connection.
What they will not do: file paperwork with the VA, track your claim, hold your Power of Attorney, or advocate for you before the VA. That documentation is yours to keep, and yours to use however you choose — including handing it to your own accredited attorney, VSO, or claims agent. What VA PTSD Firm Does (and Doesn't Do)
VA PTSD Firm coordinates intake, scheduling, records handling, and payment for a flat $1,500 fee — paid upfront, never contingent on your claim's outcome — and, through its in-house medical reviewer, may also perform your evaluation directly.
